Advanced Wide Angle Geometry (WAG™) optics provide high x-ray flux, which leads to optimal excitation conditions.
Through the use of secondary targets with computer-varied voltages and emission currents, the EX-6600 provides polarized excitation energy, increased signal-to-noise ratio, superior sensitivity and selective excitation of elements.
The near absence of background radiation produces extremely low detection limits.
The Multi-Channel Acquisition resolution provides superior peak-to-background ratio for improved detector response.

Features

Some unique features of the EX-6600:
- Close-coupled optics in the secondary target mode allow for greater flux and superior sensitivity
- Eight customizable filters and eight secondary targets
- To further enhance repeatability and reliability, the entire sampling chamber and analysis area are mechanically isolated and vibrationally dampened.
- With our proprietary end window tube design, fewer secondary electrons impinge on the Be window.
- The ultra-thin Be window provides superior performance for the low Z elements.
