MetalScan A series

The MetalScan A series comprises a control unit and detachable probe at the end of a 3-meter umbilical. The Assort with arc excitation in air and the Ascert with spark excitation in an argon atmosphere and arc excitation in air are available. For use either on site, in a plant or warehouse the MetalScan A series units have all the analytical and processing power of the larger desktop units supplied by ARUN Technology. A simple LED display at the rear of the probe allows the operator a ‘Go/No Go’ indication without the need to look at the screen.

PolySpek

PolySpekPolyspek - model with multi-CCD,multi-optic desktop spectrometers from ArunTechnology, the originators of CCD based metals analysis. With an increased wavelength coverage and improved resolution the PolySpek is positioned above the entry end Metalscan M2500 series for more demanding applications.

The overall optical design has been enhanced, and improvements in CCD technology, utilised to further improve the performance of the PolySpek while retaining the major benefit of earlier units - the ability to analyse elements across the complete range of commercial metals and alloys. Additional bases,  matrix calibrations and elements can be analysed without the additional hardware costs normally associated with classical spectrometers.
