Contactless YL4560 and YL4520 spectrophotometers

The contactless YL4560 and YL4520 benchtop spectrophotometers measure the colorimetric difference between a standard and a sample in 45/0 geometry — with reflectance and chromaticity measurement. A moving head adjusts to the sample height. For industry, research and production lines.
- Contactless technique — measurement without touching the sample
- 45/0 geometry with reflectance measurement
- Moving head matched to the sample height
- Chromaticity measurement of objects
- For automated production lines
- Cosmetics, food, paints, pigments, ceramics, plastics
The YL4560 and YL4520 are contactless benchtop spectrophotometers intended for measuring the colorimetric difference between a standard and a test sample. The contactless technique lets you measure colour without touching the surface — important for samples that are delicate, wet, freshly coated or moving on a production line.
Measurement in 45/0 geometry
The instruments measure on the basis of 45/0 geometry, extended with the measurement of the reflectance and chromaticity of objects. A moving head travels in the “up–down” plane in line with the actual height of the sample being measured, which makes it easier to work with objects of varying thickness without preparing them.
Industrial application
The contactless YL spectrophotometers work in industry at large, in scientific research and on automated production lines. They are used, among other things, in controlling the colour of cosmetics, food, paints, pigments, inks, ceramics, plastics and metals. The YL4560 and YL4520 models differ in their level of equipment and range of functions. For contact measurement with transmittance, the YS6060 is intended; for fieldwork — the portable YS3000-series spectrophotometers. Write to us and we will help you choose a version.
