The BSC127E water bath is a dual-function unit — it combines cooling with horizontal shaking in one bath. This lets you shake samples at lower temperatures than standard shaking baths, widening the range of possible processes.
Cooling and motion in one
The temperature setting range is 10–100°C at 0.1°C resolution, and a built-in cooling system (300 W) holds lower temperatures. Horizontal motion agitates the samples, which matters in cultures and reactions needing simultaneous cooling and agitation — for example temperature-sensitive biological processes.
Flexible vessel mounting
For the BSC127E, optional accessories are available: a universal roller platform for shaking bottles, flasks and other vessels, and a perforated platform for mounting Erlenmeyer flask holders. A 27-litre tank holds a larger number of vessels. If you do not need shaking, the OvanTherm C baths are enough. Write to us.
