Cooled water bath Cryostat

The BC10E cooled water bath of the Cryostat type for precise thermostatting across −10 to 100°C — with an acoustic alarm and automatic heating cut-off protecting the sample from overheating. A 12 l tank and an LCD display.
- Temperature range from −10°C to 100°C
- Acoustic alarm when temperature exceeds by 2.5°C
- Automatic heating cut-off and restart protecting the sample
- 12 l tank, 1600 W heating, 300 W cooling
- For analytical, microbiological, biotechnology labs
The BC10E water bath of the Cryostat type provides precise thermostatting of liquids in an extended range from −10°C to 100°C. It is a solution for processes needing sub-zero temperatures — for example in analytical chemistry, microbiology and biotechnology, where the sample must stay at a low, tightly controlled temperature.
Protecting the sample from overheating
The BC10E has an extensive safety system. A built-in acoustic alarm sounds when the actual bath temperature exceeds the set value by 2.5°C, and heating is automatically cut off and resumed only after the temperature drops. This mechanism prevents overheating of the thermostatted material — important for sensitive samples.
Precision at lower ranges
A digital LCD display lets you set and monitor the temperature precisely, and a 12-litre tank holds typical laboratory vessels. If you do not need sub-zero temperatures, the OvanTherm C baths (0–100°C) are enough. Write to us — we will help match the range to your process.
