The CR9 is a portable spectro-colorimeter with a vertical design, fitted with a colour touchscreen that simplifies operation and speeds up measurement. It is a model for users who want the convenience of a modern interface while keeping the device’s handy dimensions.
SCI and SCE measurement
The CR9 measures colour in both SCI mode (specular component included) and SCE mode (excluded), so you can take account of or ignore the effect of surface gloss on the result. The instrument has multiple light sources to choose from and two interchangeable measuring apertures — Ø8 mm and Ø4 mm — letting you adapt the measurement to the size and type of sample.
