DV+PRO rotational viscometers
Programmable DV+PRO rotational viscometers with digital viscosity readout, an RS232 interface and DV Gather software. Four models (DV-1/2/3 +PRO and DV-E) span viscosities from a few mPa·s to over 100 million mPa·s.

The DV+PRO rotational viscometers are the most capable line in our range — they measure the resistance a liquid exerts on a rotating spindle and convert it to dynamic viscosity. Unlike simpler meters they let you program the whole measurement and store the method, so repeat runs on the same sample are fully reproducible.
Programmable, PC-connected
A bidirectional RS232 interface links the viscometer to a computer, and the bundled DV Gather software shows results live and exports them to a spreadsheet. A temperature probe is included, because viscosity depends strongly on sample temperature and results are hard to reproduce without controlling it.
Range and applications
The spindle sets (LDV, RDV, HADV, HBDV) cover a very wide range — from thin liquids to materials in the tens of millions of mPa·s. The instruments suit quality control of paints, coatings, adhesives, resins, cosmetics and food, as well as R&D work. Dedicated adapters are available for low-viscosity liquids and small sample volumes.
