Heated multi-position stirrers — ceramic

Heated multi-position magnetic stirrers with a ceramic plate (MHK series) — from 3 to 6 positions, speed 0–1600 rpm and temperature up to 500°C. Ceramic is chemically resistant and works at higher temperatures than aluminium.

The MHK-series multi-position stirrers use a ceramic plate — a solution for labs that value a higher working temperature and resistance to aggressive media. Like the aluminium version, the MHK lets you stir and heat many samples at once, in layouts from 3 to 6 positions.
Ceramic — higher temperature and chemical resistance
The ceramic surface withstands temperatures up to 500°C, well above aluminium, and copes better with contact with spilled acids or solvents. This matters in digestion, mineralisation and work with reagents that could damage a metal plate. Speed adjustable from 0 to 1600 rpm covers the full range of stirring intensity.
Aluminium or ceramic?
If you work up to 300°C and want the fastest heating, consider the aluminium version. Choose ceramic when you need higher temperatures and chemical resistance. Write to us — we will match the configuration.
