The HG digital gloss meters are easy-to-use, one-button gloss instruments with a clear colour display. The family includes single-angle models (60°) and the three-angle HG268 (20°/60°/85°), letting you match the measurement geometry to the type of surface.
Simple and repeatable
A measurement is taken with a single press, and the display shows the results of the last five measurements — which makes comparing samples easier. The HG series works in single-measurement mode, and data can be transferred to a computer over USB. A calibration tile is included to help maintain reading accuracy. The instruments meet ISO 2813, ASTM D523, ASTM D2457 and GB/T 9754.
An economical choice
The HG60S model stands out in the series — a very economical version without built-in measurement memory or computer software, intended where a quick gloss reading is the priority. The HG gloss meters are used to measure the gloss of printing and oil paints, varnishes, coatings and primers, decorative materials (marble, granite, ceramics) and plastics. When you need a touchscreen and a statistical mode, choose the NHG gloss meters; for the smallest surfaces, the GT60S mini gloss meter. Write to us.
