NDJ-ST rotational viscometers

NDJ-ST laboratory rotational viscometers for measuring liquid viscosity — a range from 1 to 2,000,000 mPa·s (NDJ-8ST), ±1% accuracy and 0.5% repeatability. Four spindles as standard, an optional 0# spindle for low viscosities.
- Wide measuring range — up to 2,000,000 mPa·s (NDJ-8ST)
- ±1% accuracy across the range, 0.5% repeatability
- Four spindles (1#–4#), optional 0# for low viscosities
- Up to 8 rotational speeds (0.3–60 rpm on the NDJ-8ST)
- Paints, adhesives, oils, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food
The NDJ-ST series rotational viscometers are laboratory instruments for measuring the viscosity of a wide range of liquids: paints, adhesives, latexes, polymer solutions, oils, solvents, cosmetics and pharmaceutical and food products. Measurement is by the rotational method — by sensing the drag on a spindle rotating in the sample.
A wide range and precision
The family includes the NDJ-5ST and NDJ-8ST, differing in measuring range: from 1 to 100,000 mPa·s in the base version and up to 2,000,000 mPa·s on the NDJ-8ST. ±1% accuracy across the range and 0.5% repeatability ensure reliable results, and the NDJ-8ST offers eight rotational speeds (0.3–60 rpm) for measuring liquids of very different viscosity.
Spindles for various liquids
Four spindles (1#, 2#, 3#, 4#) are supplied as standard, with an optional 0# spindle for measuring very low viscosities. Matching the spindle and speed to the sample lets one instrument cover a wide range of applications. If you need a touchscreen and data acquisition, see the NTV-S series. Write to us.
