NR20XE colorimeter with a 20 mm aperture

The NR20XE portable colorimeter has the largest available Φ20 mm aperture and 45°/0° geometry with ring illumination — for measuring the colour difference of soiling, textured, ribbed or moist surfaces, such as meat. A removable collared cap that is easy to clean.
- Largest Φ20 mm aperture — large, non-uniform samples
- 45°/0° geometry simulating human vision
- Ring illumination — even lighting of the sample
- For soiling, textured and moist surfaces
- Removable collared cap, easy to clean
- Colour-difference measurement between standard and sample
The NR20XE is a portable colorimeter distinguished by the largest measuring aperture in its class, Φ20 mm in diameter. The large window averages colour over a sizeable area, so the instrument handles non-uniform samples well — textured, ribbed, soiling or moist ones such as meat.
Measurement matching the observer’s eye
Its 45°/0° geometry simulates how the human eye perceives colour, and ring illumination lights the sample evenly, reducing the effect of shadows and surface irregularities. This combination ensures a reliable colour-difference measurement between a standard and a sample, even on difficult materials.
A practical, easy-to-maintain design
The removable collared cap protects the instrument’s interior from soiling and is easy to clean — important when working with food products. The NR20XE suits quality control of food, textiles and materials with a pronounced texture. For fine parts, the NR110 with a 4 mm aperture is a better fit; for eye-matching assessment of smaller surfaces — the NR145. Write to us.
