Skyray OES 8000S optical emission spectrometer

The compact Skyray OES 8000S optical emission spectrometer measures the elemental composition of metals. It supports alloy and material checks in foundries, metal processing, production quality control and research.
- Optical emission spectrometry for metal composition analysis
- Full-spectrum technology with configurable matrices and elements
- Manufacturer software with an alloy-grade library
- Compact instrument for a quality-control workstation
The Skyray OES 8000S is a spark optical emission spectrometer for determining the elemental composition of metals. It is intended for applications in foundries, metallurgy and metalworking, as well as research and development. The starting point for instrument selection is a clear list of sample materials and elements of interest.
Follow the material through production
Composition checks can support incoming-material verification, process control and inspection of finished metal parts. A suitable analytical method links the measurement to the alloy matrix and the condition of the prepared sample surface. These requirements should be established before choosing an instrument configuration.
Configure the analytical system
Full-spectrum technology permits configuration for different matrices and elements. The manufacturer’s software includes an alloy-grade library, while reference materials support periodic calibration checks. Its compact dimensions make it easier to accommodate the instrument in an industrial laboratory.
When requesting a quotation, describe the metals being tested, the required analytical scope and the way samples are prepared. We can then discuss a suitable configuration and the installation requirements for the workstation. Contact EnviSense about metal composition analysis to prepare an application-specific proposal.
