The Opaque cooled incubator (model IC10-OE) is a metal laboratory incubator with active cooling, fitted with a methacrylate front door that lets you observe samples easily without opening the chamber. It is a solution for processes needing a constant, controlled temperature in the 10–60°C range.
Precision through fuzzy logic
Temperature is held by a microprocessor running the “ARA V2” fuzzy-logic algorithm, which reaches the target precisely without overshoot. You can drive the loop from either an internal or an external probe, and accuracy comes to 0.1°C — important for samples sensitive to overheating.
Monitoring and signalling
A backlit LCD reports the set and actual temperature alongside the elapsed time, with an optional audible alert. Optionally, the incubator can be fitted with a shaking function, extending its uses to cultures that need mixing. For advanced cultures with CO2 control the AEOLUS IS-AM incubators are intended.
