The OvanTherm C cooled immersion thermostat (model TC00E) extends a standard thermostat with a built-in active cooling system. This lets you thermostat the medium across the full 0–100°C range without needing to connect external cooling.
Cooling without noise
The unit has an exceptionally quiet compressor, which removes the intrusiveness typical of active cooling — important for long cycles run at the laboratory bench. It holds temperature to within ±0.1°C and reads in 0.1°C steps, giving the precision needed in demanding procedures.
Immersion flexibility
Like other immersion thermostats, the TC00E drops into a vessel up to 20 litres, turning it into a cooled, thermostatted bath. Microprocessor control and an LCD display let you monitor the set and current temperature. If you do not need active cooling, the OvanTherm thermostat with an external-cooling option is enough.
