PDV portable, battery-powered rotational viscometers enable fast, accurate viscosity measurements not only in the laboratory but also in factories and production plants — at individual stages of production. It is a solution where the sample cannot or should not be moved to a benchtop viscometer.
Mobility without losing accuracy
Every PDV viscometer has a lithium battery giving up to 8 hours of operation, so you can check viscosity directly on the line. ±2% accuracy across the range and ±1% repeatability ensure reliable results in production conditions too. The unit suits measuring paints, adhesives, solvents, oils, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food products.
Three ranges to choose from
The family includes the LPDV-1, RPDV-1 and HPDV-1, differing in measuring range — from 25 to 1,200,000 mPa·s on the HPDV-1. Four spindles (B1–B4), an AC-DC power supply and a battery are supplied as standard; optionally the unit can be fitted with a laboratory stand and an extra handle.
