Raman spectral library (Nicodom)

Nicodom Raman spectral library — Raman spectrum

A database of over 16,000 Raman spectra (Nicodom) for identifying compounds by Raman spectroscopy — complementary to the infrared, in formats compatible with common software.

The Nicodom Raman spectral library is a database of over 16,000 spectra that lets you identify compounds by a method complementary to the infrared. You match your sample’s spectrum against stored references, and the spectrometer points to the most likely substances.

Why Raman

Raman spectroscopy sees vibrations that FT-IR misses, copes well with aqueous samples and often needs no preparation — a measurement can be taken directly, even through clear glass or packaging. That makes it a valuable complement to an infrared library.

Compatibility

We supply the database in formats that work with common Raman software, including Renishaw WiRE and GRAMS. We will match the version to your system.
