Series A and B light booths are used for the visual assessment of colour and the comparison of objects under conditions close to various real-world light sources. They are a practical tool wherever colour must be judged repeatably — rather than just “by eye” under whatever lighting happens to be present.
Two housings, many configurations
Series A models have a wooden housing, and series B a metal one. In both, you can choose variants with four, five or six light sources, covering the standardised illuminants D65, TL84, UV, F, CWF and TL83. Selecting the lamp set lets you reproduce the lighting appropriate to a given industry and application.
Colour assessment and metamerism
Because the light source can be switched quickly, the booths make it easy to catch metamerism — the phenomenon where two objects look colour-matched under one light and different under another. A 45° tilting table is included as standard, and the wide range of sizes — up to a 120 cm-wide model — lets you assess samples of almost any size.
