SNB rotational viscometers

Digital SNB rotational viscometers with continuously adjustable rotation speed and automatic calibration on spindle change. Four models (SNB-1/2/3 and SNB-Al) cover viscosities from a few to tens of millions of mPa·s.
- Continuously adjustable spindle rotation speed
- Automatic viscosity calibration when the spindle is changed
- Result and measurement settings on a clear LCD screen
- Membrane-keypad operation — suited to laboratory conditions
- Optional software for archiving measurement results
The SNB rotational viscometers are digital instruments for laboratory viscosity measurement. A spindle immersed in the sample rotates at a steady, continuously adjustable speed; the instrument converts the resistance to motion into dynamic viscosity and shows the result with the chosen settings on an LCD screen.
Operation and calibration
Measurement settings are entered on a membrane keypad that shrugs off the soiling typical of lab work. When the spindle is changed the instrument recalibrates the viscosity range automatically, which speeds up setup and reduces the risk of error. Optional software lets you archive results and keep measurement records.
Applications
SNB viscometers are used in petrochemistry, medicine, and the food, cosmetics and textile industries, as well as in research. Model choice depends mainly on the expected viscosity range — from relatively thin liquids (SNB-1) to very thick materials (SNB-3, SNB-Al).
Tell us which liquids and viscosity ranges you measure and we will match the SNB model and spindle set, and prepare a quote.
