Cutting mills

Cutting (knife) mills reduce soft, fibrous and elastic materials — plant samples, wood, straw, grains, plastics, rubber or food — using rotating blades. The range includes compact knife mills for preparing analytical samples, vertical SM-series mills (including a water-cooled version) and horizontal CM mills with a throughput up to 20 kg/h. We match the mill to the material type and the required fineness.
Cutting mills — available models

HM-100 laboratory knife mill
The HM-100 laboratory knife mill for preparing analytical samples — it takes a feed of 10–40 mm and reduces it to below 300 µm. A 700 ml working container (1000 ml total) in autoclavable plastic or stainless steel.
- Feed size 10–40 mm, final fineness below 300 µm
- Working capacity 700 ml (1000 ml total)
- Container in autoclavable plastic or stainless steel
- For preparing homogeneous analytical samples

CM-series horizontal cutting mills
CM-series horizontal cutting mills for high-throughput reduction of plant and fibrous materials — the CM-5000 (5 kg/h) and CM-20000 (20 kg/h) models with interchangeable sieves. They reduce wood, straw, grains, spices, rubber, plastics and much more.
- Two models — CM-5000 (5 kg/h) and CM-20000 (20 kg/h)
- Interchangeable sieves (mesh 20/40/60 or 0.5/1/2)
- Feeder 5 cm (CM-5000) or 20 cm (CM-20000) in diameter
- Wide use — plants, wood, plastics, food

SM-series vertical cutting mills
SM-series vertical cutting mills for fast reduction — speed up to 30,000 rpm and a chamber volume of 300–400 cm³. The SM450C model with a water jacket cools the sample, protecting heat-sensitive materials.
- High rotational speed — up to 30,000 rpm
- Grinding chamber volume 300–400 cm³
- Load up to 150 ml (SM-450/450C) or 200 ml (SM-450L)
- SM450C model with a water jacket cooling the sample
