CGM-20 vertical crusher with air cooling

The CGM-20 vertical laboratory crusher with a very high 30,000 rpm speed and an air-cooling system — for crushing minerals, fibres and adhesive substances. Continuous operation and a set of three interchangeable blades for different materials.
- Very high rotational speed — 30,000 rpm
- Air-cooling system protecting the sample and the unit
- Capable of continuous operation
- Set of three blades — straight and curved medium and large
- For minerals, fibres and adhesive substances
The CGM-20 is a vertical laboratory crusher distinguished by a very high rotational speed — 30,000 rpm. That range quickly and effectively reduces materials hard to handle with slower crushers: mineral substances, fibres and adhesive materials.
Cooling and continuous operation
A built-in air-cooling system removes the heat generated at high speed, protecting both the unit and the sample from overheating. As a result the crusher is suitable for continuous operation — the crushing time is matched to the material type.
Interchangeable blades
The CGM-20 is supplied with a set of three blades: a straight one and curved ones — medium and large. Matching the blade to the material lets you optimise the reduction result. A fine, uniform grind means better sample preparation for downstream analyses — sieving, spectrometry or chemistry — because the composition is averaged across the whole volume. The short contact time and active cooling limit heating that could alter thermally sensitive samples, such as plastics or materials that contain volatile compounds. For slower crushing of larger batches the CCM-series crushers are suitable. Ask for a quote.
