EDX3600K XRF spectrometer

The advanced benchtop EDX3600K EDXRF spectrometer for laboratory use, with an SDD detector and an enlarged beryllium window that extends the range from fluorine (F9). Designed for powder-material analyses — powder metallurgy, the cement industry, steelmaking and mining. Good detection of light elements.
- SDD detector with an enlarged beryllium window
- Measuring range extended from fluorine (F9)
- Better analysis of light elements — Si, Al, S
- For powder materials and powder metallurgy
- Cement, steelmaking, mining and glass industries
- Use in geology and environmental monitoring
The EDX3600K is an advanced benchtop EDXRF spectrometer intended for demanding laboratory use. Using an SDD detector with a larger-than-standard beryllium window made it possible to extend the measuring range from fluorine (F9) and improve the analytical capability for the other light elements.
A strength: light elements
The extended range and better detection are useful when determining elements such as silicon, aluminium and sulfur, which can be difficult for classic XRF analysers. This is a significant advantage in analysing materials with complex matrices.
Designed for powder materials
The spectrometer was designed mainly for powder-material analyses — for powder metallurgy, the cement industry, steelmaking, mining, glass production and refractory materials. It is also used successfully in geological research, environmental monitoring and food quality control. For the full F–U range in a vacuum or helium atmosphere, the EDX 6000C is intended; for sample series — the EDX 6000B with a changer.
