HOG-24 tissue homogeniser

A digital bead-mill tissue homogeniser for molecular biology — it prepares up to 24 samples at once (24×2 ml or 12×5 ml rotors) at 4.0–7.0 m/s with a 1–90 s cycle. A 50-programme memory delivers repeatable isolation of DNA, RNA and proteins.

The HOG-24 is a bead-mill tissue homogeniser designed for sample preparation in molecular biology. The material goes into tubes with beads (silica, metal or glass) that, under vigorous motion, break down even difficult tissues, releasing the cell contents while preserving their molecular structure.
Throughput and repeatability
The instrument handles up to 24 samples at once (24×2 ml or 12×5 ml rotors), which genuinely shortens series preparation. Speed adjustable across 4.0–7.0 m/s in 0.05 m/s steps and a 1–90 s cycle let you tune the protocol to the tissue type, while memory for up to 50 programmes and an O-LED display keep successive runs identical.
For demanding samples
The HOG-24 excels at isolating DNA, RNA, proteins and enzymes, including from materials considered difficult — it copes even with bone and cartilage. Fast acceleration and braking (≤ 2 s) shorten the cycle and limit sample heating.
