HOG-24R cooled tissue homogeniser

HOG-24R tissue homogeniser with built-in compressor cooling

A bead-mill tissue homogeniser with built-in compressor cooling (−10 to 40 °C) — it protects sensitive biomolecules during intensive homogenisation of up to 24 samples. Three-dimensional vibration at 4.0–7.0 m/s gives fast, repeatable prep of skin, muscle, liver and bone.

The HOG-24R is a bead-mill tissue homogeniser with one key difference from the base model: a built-in compressor cooling system. Intensive homogenisation generates heat that can degrade sensitive biomolecules — keeping the sample cold (down to −10 °C) protects RNA, proteins and enzymes throughout the cycle.

Cold homogenisation for labile samples

Active cooling across −10 to 40 °C makes the HOG-24R the right choice wherever material integrity matters: isolating nucleic acids, working with enzymes or running proteomic analysis. Three-dimensional vibration at 4.0–7.0 m/s ensures highly repeatable disruption of biological samples — from skin and muscle tissue, through liver, to bone.

Throughput without compromise

Like the non-cooled version, the HOG-24R prepares up to 24 samples at once (24×2 ml or 12×5 ml rotors) and stores up to 50 programmes, keeping many protocols organised at a single workstation.

Don’t need active cooling? The more affordable HOG-24 version offers the same throughput. For bead and tube selection, write to us.
