The i2 spectrophotometer is a single-beam visible-light (VIS) instrument, fitted with a graphic LCD display and a tungsten halogen lamp. It measures at wavelengths from 320 to 1100 nm, covering typical analytical applications in quality-control, research and teaching laboratories.
A rich set of measurement methods
The included software enables quantitative analyses, kinetic measurements, scanning of selected wavelengths and work in the Multi Wavelength mode, as well as DNA and protein analyses. The instrument lets you create calibration curves, and its built-in memory stores up to 200 data groups and up to 200 curves, which makes routine work with many methods easier.
Stable measurement and easy operation
A special optical system in a suspended position and a reinforced, thickened base plate damp the vibrations acting on the optics, which translates into measurement stability.
