i8 double-beam spectrophotometer

The advanced double-beam i8 UV-VIS spectrophotometer has a large LCD display and a 190–1100 nm range. Quantitative analyses, kinetic measurements, scanning, a Multi Wavelength mode and DNA and protein analyses. 24-bit signal conversion, improved sensitivity and a suspended optical system.
- Double-beam system, range 190–1100 nm
- Large LCD display, very good parameters
- 24-bit signal conversion, improved sensitivity
- Quantitative analyses, kinetics, scanning, Multi Wavelength
- DNA and protein analyses
- Optional three scan speeds
The i8 spectrophotometer is an advanced double-beam UV-VIS instrument with very good measuring parameters, a large LCD display and a 190–1100 nm range. The double-beam system continuously compensates for the effect of light-source changes, which translates into high measurement stability and accuracy.
Precision and a rich set of methods
The device can work standalone or with the included software, performing quantitative analyses, kinetic measurements, wavelength scanning, Multi Wavelength measurements and DNA and protein analyses. 24-bit analogue-to-digital signal conversion and improved sensitivity ensure a precise reading even with demanding samples.
Stable top-class optics
It uses an optical system based on proven designs and high-class components, placed in a suspended position, while a reinforced, thickened base plate damps vibration. Optionally, the i8 scans at three speeds. The i9 version adds automatic bandwidth switching — see the i9; for an automatic cell changer, the UV-2601. Write to us.
