The i9 spectrophotometer is an advanced double-beam UV-VIS instrument with very good measuring parameters, a large LCD display and a 190–1100 nm range. It differs from the i8 in being able to switch the spectral bandwidth automatically between 0.5, 1, 2, 4 and 5 nm — letting you match the resolution to the method precisely.

The device performs quantitative analyses, kinetic measurements, wavelength scanning, Multi Wavelength measurements and DNA and protein analyses — standalone or with a computer. 24-bit analogue-to-digital signal conversion and improved sensitivity ensure a precise reading, and the adjustable bandwidth gives control over measurement selectivity.
Top-class optics
It uses the best optical system based on proven designs and high-class components, placed in a suspended position; a reinforced, thickened base plate damps the vibrations acting on the optics. Optionally, the i9 scans at three speeds. When you do not need a variable bandwidth, the i8 is enough; the UV-2601 works with an automatic cell changer, and the UV-2100 with automatic scanning.
