Large heaters with an aluminium plate are for heating samples only — with no stirring function. It is a solution where you need a stable, well-controlled surface temperature for larger vessels or several vessels at once.
Aluminium over a large surface
An aluminium plate spreads heat quickly and evenly, which over a large heating surface is decisive for uniform warming. A temperature range up to 370°C and ±1°C stability hold the set conditions throughout the process, and the heating power (from 1500 to 4500 W depending on the model) provides headroom even at full load.
