The S-Mobile is a compact mobile XRF spectrometer that enables field measurement where fast, accurate analysis is needed. A high-power 50 kV / 50 W X-ray tube provides laboratory-level XRF analyses — it is an analyser with the capabilities of a benchtop instrument in a mobile form.
Accuracy and versatility
The S-Mobile is simple to operate while also being accurate and fully professional. It suits geological research, ground remediation, rapid-response units and in-situ analyses in technological processes. The spectrometer is fitted with extensive analytical software featuring standardless analysis functions (SLFP).
Petrochemical and marine versions
The S-Mobile ULS (Ultra Low Sulfur) variant is intended for petrochemical applications and sulfur analyses at single-ppm levels, with a 1.3 ppm detection limit — in an air atmosphere, without a helium purge, in line with ASTM D4294, D7212, ISO 20847 and IP 531. The Petro-Marine version analyses fuels on ships (S, Al, Si, Ca, Zn, P) and lubricants (Fe, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pb), and thanks to its rugged build it works on any vessel.
