X-Calibur XRF spectrometer

The X-Calibur EDXRF laboratory spectrometer, with a high-power X-ray tube and a compact build, delivers high measurement throughput and high detector resolution. A unique "close couple" tube geometry shortens the sample–tube–detector distance. Software with standardless Fundamental Parameters analysis.
- High-power X-ray tube, compact build
- Close-couple tube geometry with a front anode
- High throughput and high detector resolution
- Qualitative, quantitative and semi-quantitative analysis
- Standardless Fundamental Parameters analysis
- Petrochemicals, metallurgy, mining, environmental research
The X-Calibur is an EDXRF X-ray fluorescence laboratory spectrometer with a high-power X-ray tube and a compact build. It delivers high measurement throughput and high detector resolution, which suits it to demanding elemental-composition analyses.
Optics optimised for throughput
A unique “close couple” tube geometry, with the anode placed at the front, combined with an advanced optical-system design, minimises the distance between the sample, the tube and the detector. Shortening this path increases the accuracy and throughput of measurements, which translates into shorter analysis times and better detection limits.
Standardless analysis and broad application
The software enables full sample analysis: qualitative, quantitative and semi-quantitative, and the Fundamental Parameters module — in a basic or advanced version — allows standardless analyses of even unknown matrices. The spectrometer is used in petrochemicals, chemistry, the polymer industry, forensic medicine, metallurgy, coating analysis, mining and environmental research. More versatile for light-element analysis is the Genius-IF; for mineral analyses — the EDX3600H. Send an inquiry and you will quickly receive a price offer — write to us.
