Reaching up to 30 tonnes, the EQP-30 is a hand-operated hydraulic press sized for 40 mm tablets. A heavy frame paired with simple, safe operation makes it a fit wherever a high, repeatable clamping force is needed.
High force with little effort
The hydraulic drive amplifies the force the operator puts on the lever many times over, so you reach a high pressing pressure without strenuous work. As the load nears the 30-tonne limit, a built-in safeguard bleeds pressure off on its own — protecting both the press and whoever is at the bench.
Laboratory application
The EQP-30 suits preparing pellets from materials such as glass, cement, gypsum, ceramics, mineral samples, silicates and slag — for the XRF and FTIR analytical techniques. For lighter, manual applications, the PC-15BS press is intended; for repeatable pellets in a semi-automatic cycle — the EQP-110. Prior grinding of the sample is provided by the EQM-402 ball mill.
