The SB400E sand bath heats laboratory vessels evenly at temperatures beyond the reach of a water or oil bath — up to 400°C. Sand, as a dry heat carrier, safely surrounds vessels of different shapes, while microprocessor control holds the set temperature throughout the process.
Even heating at high temperatures
A stainless-steel heating plate ensures uniform temperature distribution across the whole surface, which is crucial when working at elevated temperatures — uneven heating could damage the sample or vessel. The 2000 W power reaches working temperature quickly.
Precision and monitoring
Microprocessor temperature control with 0.5°C resolution and ±1°C accuracy, plus an LCD display, give precise setting and a live view of parameters.
