Automatic A630 and A670 refractometers

The automatic series A refractometers (A630 and A670) have a CCD detector and a 7" touchscreen — refractive-index measurement across 1.3000–1.7000 nD, accuracy to ±0.0001 and a 0–100% Brix scale. Built-in temperature control, 4 GB memory and software compliant with 21 CFR Part 11.

The automatic series A refractometers — the A630 and A670 — are fully professional laboratory instruments with a high-resolution CCD detector. They measure automatically in refractive-index units (nD) or sugar concentration on the Brix scale, delivering fast, accurate and repeatable results and eliminating the human error that accompanies a manual reading.
Precision and full automation
Both models measure refractive index across 1.3000–1.7000 nD and sugar concentration across 0–100% Brix. The A630 reaches ±0.0002 accuracy, and the A670 ±0.0001 with resolution down to 0.00001. Measurement is stabilised by a built-in semiconductor temperature-control module (10–50°C on the A630, 5–80°C on the A670), which is key to the reliability of refractometric results.
Data logging and pharmaceutical compliance
Operation is via a 7" touchscreen, and results are saved to 4 GB of memory. The A630 communicates over RS232, USB and SD, while the A670 adds WiFi. The supplied software complies with 21 CFR Part 11, which governs data security and reporting in the pharmaceutical industry.
