PLRS-200 semi-automatic polarimeter

The PLRS-200 semi-automatic polarimeter has a 5.6" colour touchscreen and a 589 nm LED source — four measurement modes (optical and specific rotation, concentration, sugar on the ISS), ±0.02° accuracy and 100-result memory. 100 and 200 mm tubes and USB as standard.
- 5.6" colour TFT touchscreen
- Four measurement modes, including sugar on the ISS
- ±0.02° accuracy, 0.005° resolution
- Long-life 589 nm LED light source
- Temperature control 0–100°C, 100-result memory
- USB interface and 100/200 mm tubes as standard
The PLRS-200 semi-automatic polarimeter measures the rotation angle of the plane of linearly polarised light and is especially suited to analysing optically active substances. It quickly determines a sample’s purity and concentration, and its digital readout removes the drawbacks of analogue measurement.
Four modes, one instrument
The PLRS-200 offers four measurement modes — optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration, and sugar content on the International Sugar Scale (ISS). It is operated from a large 5.6" colour touchscreen, and the 589 nm LED source provides a stable reading and a long service life. ±0.02° accuracy and 0.005° resolution give reliable results in routine work.
Convenience and record-keeping
Built-in memory stores up to 100 results, and the USB interface makes them easy to move into documentation. Temperature control across 0–100°C to ±0.5°C stabilises conditions when measuring thermally sensitive substances. It ships with 100 and 200 mm polarimeter tubes as standard.
