Vibration ball mill

A laboratory vibration ball mill for fast, ultra-fine grinding of hard, brittle and fibrous samples. High-frequency vibration of the chamber breaks the material down in minutes — dry or wet, in small batches for sample preparation.
- High-frequency vibration — grinding in minutes
- Ultra-fine result for sample preparation
- Hard, brittle and fibrous materials
- Dry and wet grinding
- Small batches, simple and fast operation
- Jars and media from the same family as the ball mills
A vibration mill grinds differently from planetary or roll mills — instead of rotating the jar, it vibrates the ball-filled chamber at high frequency. The dense stream of impacts brings hard and brittle materials down to an ultra-fine size in minutes rather than hours.
Fast sample preparation
This is a tool for labs where turnaround and repeatability matter: preparing samples for XRF, spectral or sieve analysis, and grinding minerals, ceramics, glass, plant and fibrous materials. The small charge and short cycle let you prepare one sample after another without long cleaning or lengthy grinding programs.
Dry, wet and accessory selection
The mill runs both dry and wet, and the chamber and grinding media are matched to sample hardness — from the same family of jars as the other ball mills. When you need larger charges and 0.1 µm fineness, see the XQM planetary ball mills; the grinding guide helps you pick the set. Write to us.
